SUPERSTARS' SUCCESSFUL ADVENTURE. |

Wednesday 24th June 2015 was a great date in the
history of cricket, sport and Planet Earth as two juggernaults of cricketing excellence -
Chessington Allstars and Superstars met for the first time. There was gridlock in South West
London and Chessington in particular as fans flocked to the Chessington ground. |

Superstars batted first (there's no record of
the toss so I assume we lost it) and Superstars raised their game to the big occasion
with Vijay Aand and Rick Smith both scoring 50s in a huge 170-4. An imposing target, but
a good wicket. |

The Chessington Allstars began their reply but
Superstars Great Simon Gundry ran through the top order taking 4 wickets in 3 stunning
overs. After this the game was over as a contest really but Chessington fought well to get to
110 all out. Another highlight of the innings was Rhys Meyler taking a wicket - only 65
behind his less gifted father and more in 2015. |
