Arrow Stone Recreation Ground
Hayes Road, Stone, DA9 9DS.
Stone Crossing Stone Crossing Stone Crossing Stone Crossing
The regular ground for an annual trip to play Dartford Harriers, mainly because the ground is 30 seconds walk from Jason's house, Stone Rec is an excellent ground. The facilities were improved in 2011 with a smart new pavillion and veranda. The ground is large but the pitch is rather up and down - although this tends to help produce entertaining cricket.

Arrow Directions
The walk from the station takes about 25 minutes.
Cross the rail line (be careful!), go up the hill until you reach the main road (by the Bull pub), turn right. Wander along here until you turn left into Acacia Rd. The ground is the top of this road and the pavilion is on the far side near the kids' playground.

Barry Rail Enquiries
Barry recommends the 1226 (Charing Cross), 1228 (Waterloo East), 1233 (London Bridge) to STONE CROSSING (1313).
The train behind at 1256 (Charing Cross) will mean you're late unless someone very kindly picks you up at the station.
The return trains are pretty regular, late on they are at 05, 11, 29, 35, 41, 59 minutes past the hour returning to London, until 2341 (the last train).

Arrow Pub Rating
We normally go to the Bull Pub. It has a beer garden and is close to the ground on the way to the station so does ok. Occasionally we also pop into the Lads of the Village as it's near the station.
