This afternoon game was played in beautiful conditions. Captain for the day Gaught won the toss and elected to bat, with only ten men. Conway and
Gaught set an excellent platform with a stand of 108 before Matt was caught off the bowling of Phil McBarron. After that a collapse reminisant of the England team in the 1980s followed with only Will
Walker (30 off 22 balls) showing any resisitence. To add to the clown type batting there were three run outs. Still 186 felt a total that could be defended. |

Chris Mountain and Harish opened the bowling but couldn't find the breakthrough with Dodgers' regular opening partnership of Taylor and Dollin, who mixed defence
when required with punishing agression. Mike Taylor and debutant Alun Hughes were next to try and get Superstars into the game. Although Alun bowled beautifully (8-2-18-1) Superstars needed better help from the
other end. Steve Meyler bought a wicket with his flighted filth but there wasn't to be a second collapse of the day. Dodgers made 189 for 2 with 7.4 overs to spare. |

A crushing blow to Superstars who lose the Ken Block Trophy series after some shambolic batting and some equally as poor bowling. |
