On the first hard and bouncy track of the season Matt and Paul opened up with a partnership of
85 before Matt was out for 52, Paul and I then went one better with a partnership of 92 before I finally ran out the tiring gaughtman
for an impressive 69. Our ringer Raj plundered 30 before I was out on the last ball of our innings for 64. In the end we
made 240-5 off 35 overs. |

After an impressive and free tea Mike took a couple of early wickets before bowling
through the pain barrier to finish with 2-28, Naren bowled well for no wickets before Matt persuaded the umpire to raise his
finger with one of his sliders. Raj bowled a tidy spell and took 2-28. Jason bowled one of their better batsman with
some sharp turn and finished with 2-44. The Chairman played and fielded admirably and LSE were finally all out for 180. |
