SUPERSTARS CREATE HISTORY (AGAIN). |

Superstars arrived at the Chiswick ground to play Treasury,
who were keen for revenge having lost to us in the Bank of England tournament earlier. Again Barry Gigg
lost the toss and we were asked to bat. What followed is now part of Superstars folklore. |

68 balls of inepitude and hapless cricket followed in
which Superstars were bowled out for 36. THIRTY BLOOMING SIX. The fact that Warren (8), Conway (4)
and Gigg (4) got to 27-2 and that is a relatively good effort is worrying. After that the only
person whose score isn't the same in binary numbers was Varghese (4). At least Teja Bapuram
scored his first run for Superstars while unfortunately our other debutant, Natalie Daniels, didn't.
We lost 8 wickets for 9 runs. The full hall of shame is below. |

Treasury knocked them off for no loss. There was then a 5 over "beer match" in which Treasury
made 36 (fittingly) but we didn't manage to get them. A farcial performance but great to see debutants playing and enjoying being a Superstar. |
