Arrangements for 1999 Season |
Organisation of teams for the coming season would be arranged on a rota basis. The Club Captain will wish to see team members
taking their turn in these responsibilities. Steve Meyler will be kit organiser. Mrs Block would be unable to make teas for the forthcoming season. The club will look into
the possibility of making teas available through other sources. Depending on the cost, this may require a review of match fees. Michael Taylor was appointed vice-captain.
A pre-season tour had been arranged for 1999 to Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire. All members were invited to attend. The club would consider advertising for new players
towards the start of the season, possibly through Grassroots or the Infonet. Ray George would look into this. The club agreed to get Mrs Block a present to thank her for her
significant contribution to the club over the years. Tim Barraclough would look into the possibility of using the [DTI] nets in 1 Victoria Street. |
