Rich is considered as the nicest bloke at Superstars. This may seem
a bold claim with our current playing ranks but there is strong evidence. On
the right hand of this profile are various links including some to Phil's Player Profiles and whilst most are
abuse riden character assassinations where the Superstars Lawyers have had a field day all of Richard's are
full of complements and praise - and not in a sarcastic way either! Surely no more evidence is required. |

All the more surprising then that on our 2009 Tour to Tewkesbury
Richard found himself alone and involved in "handbags" with the locals. No one is quite sure what happened there,
even Richard himself. |

After a few years of fewer appearences Rich has rediscovered
his Superstars mojo and is looking forward to making more appearences, this can only be good news as more regular
games can hopefully return him to the high levels of performance he is capable of. Showed promising calmness
and match-awareness slightly lower in the order last year (in a role we may call the "pre-finisher" role).
His bowling is under-rated, but his fielding isn't. His Richie Richardson style hat shows he has fashion
tips to hand out too. |

Richard has already achieved greatness, reaching the
1000 run club in 2010. Hopefully his
reinvigorated love for the game will mean he reaches the 100 cap club soon (29 to go) while statistically
aware captains will no doubt give his bowling more opporunities but 30 wickets is still a long way to go when
you've only got 20 in 15 years or so. |
