	The SPARTA Sports Day has usually included 6-a-side cricket. 6-a-side is a 5 over a side contest with 5 bowlers bowling one over each (the player usually keeps wicket). It's hard work! Superstars have often fielded two sides in the past and some Superstars have formed sides with work colleagues and/or friends. Dodgers tend to rock up too. Usually the tournament has involved some sort of group stage followed by knock out matches. It's a really good day and while it's a DfT/DLUHC event all Superstars are welcome.

This used to be our regular home ground when it was the Civil Service Sports Ground. It is now the home of Kings House School. The facilities haven't changed much in that time.

It's easiest from BARNES BRIDGE station. The walk from the station takes about 15 minutes. Exit the station and walk under the bridge, then go up the stairs as if going to the other platform but cross the bridge over the river instead. At bottom of the steps turn left. After about 100 yards, cross the road and walk along a narrow path (not the road) - there's a sign at the beginning of the path.

Cricket in the SPARTA Sports Day was dropped from 2014 until 2021 for a mixture of reasons (a lack of Russian oligarchs on SPARTA, a global pandemic, Dodgers' fearing embarrassment). But like a pheonox from the flames Superstars legend Jason Marchant has been instrumental in bringing it back.
