Openers Will and Matt eventually strode out an overcast and windswept Chiswick once
we'd found some stumps. Matt fell cheaply to a smart catch at square leg, bringing Nehal to the middle. He and Will put on
60 at a good pace before Nehal was out for 30. Mark Williams, Steve Evison and Sandeep were all dismissed with varying degrees of
comedy, with Mountain and Will (49) sharing a brisk 30 to close the innings on 114/6 off the allotted 18 overs. |

Sandeep opened the bowling with 2 wides, a bouncer hooked for 4 and then an lbw.
This pattern continued, with all bowlers struggling with their line in the blustery conditions. Sandeep ended up with 3/30ish,
and when James AP dismissed their best bat in the 8th, caught at 45 degrees by Sandeep, things looked good. Unfortunately,
despite reasonable bowling from Taylor, Andrews and Mountain, bad balls were punished, catches went down, fielding wasn't great
and the oppo edged to an ultimately comfortable victory with 7 balls to spare. |

Best wishes to Matt who took a fiercely hit ball on the side of the knee. Written by Chris. |
