Superstars took on a Khalid XI in a hastily arranged fixture
mainly to rid the club of the awful stench of a humiliating loss to Dodgers the week before. The match itself
was a bit "knock about" with John Bishop, Sir Steve Meyler and James Hewitt named-and-shamed as playing for the
opposition and all scoring heavily (presumably because of the lower class of bowling than they are used to facing. Khalid took three wickets for Superstars but not much else is known, but that's ok. |
