Barry won the toss and the shock was too much for Gaught (bowled first ball of the match) and Barry (bowled 3rd ball)
who both made zero. Chris Mountain (18) and the hard hitting Himanshu (16) rebuilt the innings. Then Jaime Ratcliff (25), Chris Plume (26) and Scott Thornton (25) all
retired to really push the innings on. There were unconfirmed reports Scott hit one on the offside (or the "posh side" as Will calls it) but I think it was just a miscue.
In the pursuit of late runs Raj (0), Mike Duggan (0), Ian Moxon (5no) and Roy (3no) got some valuable runs to get Superstars to 138 for 6. A competitive, but no better, total on a good wicket. |

Roy Varghese started with a beautiful first ball, bowling their opener but after that despite some good bowling
Roy had to wait for his 5th ball for a wicket this time and again opened the bowling very well (4-0-18-1). However Treasury were still in the game when Barry
turned to spin trio Chris Plume (4-0-19-3), Raj (4-0-8-2) and Michael Duggan (3-0-22-0, when the slog was on) who bamboozled Treasury. Chris Mountain obviously saw
the tactic and bowled some slow left arm himself. |

Beating Treasury always makes you popular back in the office! This was a good victory. |
