Also not known as 'Manic Mike' or 'Dynamite Duggan' due to not possessing the kind of express-pace or life-threatening bounce that gangs of West Indian bowlers in the 70s, 80s and 90s menaced scores of poor defenceless English batsmen with. Instead Mike relies on sharp-turn from his triple-jointed wrist and giving the ball not just flight but wings and a whopping great jet-engine. Many a batsman has been caught out by cunning, dramatic changes of field in between the ball leaving his hand and finally landing on the pitch.
Mike also, probably, holds the Superstars all-time record for most stumpings achieved as a bowler. Not normally known for his batting Mike probably won't challenge AEJ Collins' all-time record score of 628 not out, this season.
Michael is a member of the illustrious 50 wicket club, and is 9th in the list of wicket takers in the club's history with a grand total of 118 wickets. The only slow bowlers with more wickets are Matt Conway (although he may be too fast to count), Jason Marchant and Mike Taylor.
