In reply we started slowly and by 10 overs had scored 38 although Matt Bollington reached double figures a milestone in anybody's book. With six overs to
go and 5 wickets down we needed 40 to win, Sandeep and me were at the crease with the rain getting worse. We managed to see Superstars home with an over to spare while two of their bowlers realised the
advantage of wearing studs as they lay face down in the Chiswick turf! It was very overcast and wet by the end. |
