Superstars lost 20 matches in 2019, this is the equal most ever (2017 also had 20 losses). The win against Arreton on Fri 3rd May (on tour) was the 400th ever for Superstars. The cancellation against Dartford Harriers was the 150th ever for Superstars. The win against Allstars on Wed 7th Aug was the 700th game Superstars had started. The 41 matches scheduled was the highest ever. The 32 matches started was only exceeded by 2017 (34 matches). The club batting average of 16.01 runs per wicket was the lowest recorded (these statistics were first published in 2009). MICHAEL DUGGAN's hat trick (v Marauders, 13th August), was the first for a club regular since 2010 (Raj Vadgama) although Mike Wood took one in 2018. MERV ARANHA made his 50th appearence for the club (v Green Sox, 16th May), the 40th Superstar to reach this landmark. GARY PLAHE made his 100th appearence for the club (v Dodgers, 22nd May), the 21st Superstar to reach this landmark. Our great Chairman MATTHEW CONWAY made his 300th appearence for the club (v Marauders, 13th August), the 3rd Superstar to reach this landmark. VIJAY ANAND scored his 3000th run for the club (v Dodgers, 22nd May), the 7th Superstar to reach this landmark. ALOK SINGH scored his 1000th run for the club (v Princes Head, 14th September), the 21st Superstar to reach this landmark. HARISH KUMAR took his 50th wicket for the club (v Pirates, 16th July), the 24th Superstar to reach this landmark. BARRY GIGG took his 100th stumping for the club (v Charlatans, 11th August), the only Superstar to reach this landmark (the next best is 42 stumpings).
